Re: Enterbay Bruce Lee 70th Anniversary Real Masterpiece

I'd still want to get Kato! Especially considering there's a high likelihood that a Green Hornet will be released down the road after the movie reboot. I rather have classic style Bruce Lee Kato with the new Green Hornet figure (maybe Hot Toys?)!

This is what you want to have isn't it:

But I'm not sure if you'll want the Green Hornet from the new movie because it's going to be Seth Rogen. emoticon
BTW who here is old enough to have seen and love the old Green Hornet series?
I missed out by miles and can never really get into it but I understand how these things go. If it was cool in your time, then you'll like it better than any new reboot. eg. Star Wars

You are right, Li! And I was old enough to remember Green Hornet, but it was reruns for me.

Seth Rogen, who knows, he may do a good job! Apparently he is working out and lost a lot of weight and seems to be taking the role seriously.

Anyway, like many others, I see the show as The Kato Show anyway, right Katoshow? emoticon

Haha yeah to me it's really "The Kato Show" since Bruce Lee was the show stealer. Even Hong Kong renamed their airings of "The Green Hornet" as "The Kato Show" but I know most Bruce Lee fans already knew that. emoticon

I remember seeing a rerun of the show when I was a kid and I was in awe with Kato. I caught up with all the Green Hornet episodes when they were showing on the FX channel sometime in the 90's.

I have my Kato figure similarly posed in that photo.

You know that you guys talk about re-runs, I remember I had a similar kung fu hero when I was small.
The series was called Kung Fu the Legend Continues starring David Caradine (aka Bill from Kill Bill). emoticon

That guy who plays Sulu in the new Star Trek. I think.

Actually, I'm wrong. It's Jay Chou, Taiwanese actor/singer.

He was in live action Initial D and Curse of the Golden Flower apparently.

Yeah it is Jay Chou. I've seen him talking about his role on cable tv.
So far we know this: Seth Rogen as hashi-Green Hornet and Jay Chou as Kato. You know where this is going... emoticon
Jay is one of those actors who's never had martial arts training. In other words, his fighting looks somewhat like Keanu Reeves in Matrix 1. emoticon

I thought Keanu had martial arts training for a few months before the filming of the matrix?

Jay Chou is not the best actor.....in fact, I think he can't act.

He's a talented musician but acting is certainly not his forte.
