haha! yeah, you're probably right about the fragile thing. jeff, you should open a toy museum - if you build it they will come.
can't wait to get this. i'm anxious to see if it's size and proportions are comparable to the aoshima i.e. if i can display them together

Jeff, you are a star!! Ta very much.
Those pics are fantastic. I thought the Aoshima would look much smaller in comparison, but they're quite comparable. Can't wait to display them together (once i glue the springs back on) Will you be doing a MWC review on this bad boy too?
Does anyone know of any special glue that should be used for really fine plastic to plastic gluing that won't make a mess? I don't know about these things. These things being almost everything.

Well though you can't really tell from the pics the Aoshima does stand a fraction taller, but next th the HT figure he now seems very clunky.
As for glue, I'm no purist so I use superglue gel for just about everything.
What I did with mine was get a small metal pin from a jewelers, snipped off about 5mm with pliers heated it up over a gas flame again holding with pliers then while still red hot I pushed it into the post. I then simply turned the spring on end so the new end wasn't plugged with plastic, applied a little superglue put the new metal pin in the spring hole, held for 30 seconds and 'voila', a stronger joint than when fresh from the factory

hey guys i'm not sure if u'all know this already..but the clip from the pistol can be taken out..they even crafted a little round at the top..pretty cool..in case any of u don know abt it..just a tiny little feature that hot toys gave us..woohoo!!
