Hey Serpentor, have you looked into getting the replacment discs yet? I plan on it but I don't know how much hassle will be involved?

I havent beacuse I'm busy but there is no hassle. You call Warner Home video they take your name and phone number. They call you back a few days later and get your adress zip code whatever they need and they send you a pre payed envelope. When it arrives you put the defective discs in send it back to them. From there once the new discs have been printed they send the new ones to you.

Region Two versions have just been released for Superman Returns saw the commercial for it yesterday.

There's a two disc edition and single disc edition available, as I'm not particularly fond of special features, I'll probably pick up the single disc edition as it's cheaper and you just get the movie, which is all I really wanted anyway emoticon

I picked up the Donner cut of Superman 2 yesterday, but haven't watched it yet. I'm like you Jabba in that I usually get the single disc versions. But when the extras have deleted scenes, I can't resist because I feel like I'm missing something if I don't see 'em.

SR had deleted scenes on the extras disc, so I made an exception and bought the 2 disc set.

Yeah but they always leave out the really good deleted scenes and give you the lame meaningless ones.
Oh yeah I watched the Donner cut a couple days ago, really good, way better. It had a more epic feel to it and felt more like it fit in with the first one.

True... The Star Wars DVD's are a perfect example of this. I was very disappointed in those deleted scenes.
