Stormtrooper, 501st, Shocktrooper or the Biker Scout would all kick ass and for the price point Sideshow could really go to town.
Although their 1/6 scale is oft criticised I think they're PF's are pretty good, I've seen alot of them in real life and even own the Spider-Man one.

Yeah the PF's are clearly where they're putting all of their effort. I love Vader, and I hava SSE Dracula. Cap. might be next if I could swing it, for me they're a treat few and far between. But I could care less about this one, I do wonder of the exclusive though/.

That's a good point I hadn't considered what exclusive they could use for a Maul PF, hopefully they won't take the easy option and give him a battle damaged lightsaber.
Maybe they could put a single probe droid behind him, like the Obi Wan exclusive with the training orb, a PF would justify the additional cost.
Best exclusive ever on a PF was the Cap, the different base and design of the figure made it really worth buying, worth having both if you're a big Cap fan.

Might even be the hooded cloak, not exactly pose accurate but a nice addition. But because of the fixed pose it'd have to velco or popper open. :dmaul

Never thought of that but it's a good idea, you could pose him with his arms crossed and the hood up, just like the GG bust pose

A couple of days ago I'd likely have been really impressed with this but after seeing those pics of the amazing custom 1/6 scale Maul with the recasted head from the GG statue all other Maul figures or statues seem somewhat redundant.

Woo hoo, I called it!
I think the probe droid is an ok exclusive as long as it's a brand new version and not just leftovers from last year's preorder.
SSC's rule was no exclusive redos so if they offer an item that's already been made available to buy in the past, as an exclusive that would be break the rule right?
I still like the look of the Maul PF, most of them come with the light up feature on the sabers so I'm not surprised by that.
Overall very nice piece IMO.
