two things to blame for that...
FOX's stupid way of pushing the show.
and people out there that would rather spend their time watching garbage and NOT giving the show a chance.
i'm crossing my fingers for the rumored AD movie.

Great show, but it's not the first time FOX prematurely pulled the plug on a show.
