Spawn Toys

So I got TONS of loose/complete Spawn figures in OK condition, what do they go for now a days? Not that I expect much, but still they're just in a box. I'm thinking 30-40 total. Where would I even unload them, ebay probably right? If anyone knows anything about what any of this stuff goes for, or wants it themselves, or to trade or something please post. They're just collecting dust in my garage and I forgot about them.

I used to collect Spawn toys way back in the day, before they started endlessly rehashing the same characters etc.

It's a quality line but I'm surprised it's still going as pretty much nobody reads the comic book anymore.

Still I think you should be pretty successful on Ebay PBK, many new collectors probably signed up and are looking for the earlier series to fill the gaps in their collection.

Let us know how you get on emoticon

Ditto on the Spawn figs, they are tired and played out. Mine have been collecting dust for quite some time now. I still visit Spawn.com daily though, to check out the new figs but (they have some real kick ass figs still) just lookin for me now. I do collect the SportsPicks, Detroit teams only.

Yeah one thing about McFarlane is he doesn't rest on his laurels and his company has got some really neat licenses lately.

They're doing The Simpsons, Twenty Four and Lost, some of which I've seen in person and are pretty detailed given their scale.

I was also in HMV recently shopping for CD's and they had a McFarlane Elvis Figure, how cool is that, the king of rock and roll LOL.

Yeah, they are pretty diverse these days, but they take alot of flack on their boards for their licenses, can't please everyone I guess! I would definatly be up for more Mcfarlane toys if a license came around that I was passionate about.

Their comic book art figures are quite detailed but their human likenesses are extremely hit and miss, look at the Lost figures and the 24 figures.

The "Charlie" character from Lost is a great likeness for a 6 inch figure, but Jack Bauer is absolute garbage, shame because I might have bought it otherwise.

I know from experience Jabba that alot of time the likeness will improve during the process, I've seen it first hand. emoticon

Really hope the Jack Bauer figure improves, if the likeness is there I'll buy it like a shot emoticonp
