Re: Sideshow LOTR Aragorn Part 2

This will probally be my next pick-up with the recent acqusition of Legolas. The only thing that I really dislike about the figure is that headsculpt. I just don't get how they botched that so baddly from proto to production. emoticon I still think it is one of the better Aragorn figures, I just wish they could put the GG bust headsculpt on this figure. It will display nicely next to Legolas so I pretty much have to get it now. Good thing that SS figures don't break the bank.

if you keep him with his bangs in front of his eyes and tilt his head down a bit, he looks pretty damn good bro.

It's just when you have him looking upwards in a brightly lit place that you can see all the flaws.

Just took some quick pics of how I have him posed along with legolas right now. I think Edwin also mentioned that he likes shooting aragorn from above because of the eyebrow issue. I think he looks pretty good but definitely could have been better, with the paint apps on the brows and goatee.

But again, personally I only notice those things when in a brightly lit condition or up close. If youre a normal distance away, most likely the figure will have some sort of shadowing on his face which makes him look pretty cool.

Thanks brothers. it's hard to tell in the pic from the lack of depth, but he's sort of in mid-stride stepping forward about to whoop some orc ass.

Last night I finally fixed up my Legolas quiver and punched 3 small holes in his cloak to make it look screen accurate.

Got pics of that Nash? Would consider doing it myself if you shared the wealth.
