Comics- The Good The Bad and The Ugly
Comics tend to come up enough during discusions. Figured instead of a 100 topics poping up I'd just post this. share your thoughts on any comics new old or up comming. Well it took long enough but Cival War issue 7 comes out this week. Hopefully it wont be crap.

Never read it although I love the Tim Sale art and bought and read the sequel Dark Victory about three years ago and it was great.
Recent graphic novels I've read include Lex Luthor Man Of Steel and Supergirl : Power and both of them were pretty cool.
Even if you're not a big fan of Supergirl I'd recommend picking up this graphic novel just for all the guest stars from around the DCU that turn up.
Comic book wise I'm going on a bit of a Batman/Superman spree at the moment but I'll pick up the last issue of Civil War.
Thanks for reminding me Serp, I'd forgotten all about it  .

I highly recomend Ms. Marvel its one of the best books Marvel is putting out at the moment. Justice Leauge and Justice Society just re-stared and its a great time for people to jump on Justice Society is better then Justice Leauge at the minute though.
Avoid at all costs- All Star Batman and Robin, I'm sorry but the next issue comes out in May well at least that's what there saying now.
Wonder Woman- Yeah her new series first arc isnt even going to FINISH issue 5 of the book will be a stand alone story and it looks like it wont be until after issue 9 when they finally end the first story arc. This is beacuse the writter is slow.

Civil War 7 a satisfactory conclusion to a story that I basically stoped caring about 3 months ago.
ASM 538-........no I didnt see that comming, Spiderman 3 has him in a black suit and Aunt May might die. So of course in the comics they have to do the exact same thing.  hh

Shazam: The Monster Society of Evil (Jeff Smith of Bone rocks it)
Walking Dead (from the guy who did Marvel
Zombies, he did this first, zombies rule!)
Wormwood:Gentleman Corpse (also more zmobie, but more of a Hellboy feel, funny and gorey)
Eternals (almost over, but Gaimen is the best writer on earth so go get back issues or wait for a trade, just read it!)

Aunt May's gonna die again, LOL :roflrofl
Spider-Man fans of old will remember ASM 400 during the fiasco that was the clone saga, Aunt May apparently died peacefully in her sleep.........
.......but.........
..... it turned out it wasn't Aunt May that had died but an elderly actress that Norman Osborn had paid and made up to look just like May.
She saw it as her last great role, meanwhile Norman swiped the real Aunt May who was in hospital in a coma at the time.
Months later whilst crashing through the door of one of the Green Goblin's hideouts, Spider-Man discovered his elderly aunt was actually still alive.
Oh well.
So now she's gonna die again huh?

For Jeph Loeb goodness pick up Wolverine issue 50 just came out a few weeks back first issue with Loeb as writter not sure how long he's on the book for. Also he's doing Ultimates Vol 3 and 4...at some point and time.
Fantatic 4 Iron Man big in Japan it wasnt my thing sadly the artist who did that passed away not to long after the whole thing finished up.
Everyone should be reading Ultimates, go buy the Hardcover that contains all 13 issues of Vol 1 and then wait for the Hard Cover for vol 2 shouldnt be too much longer issue 13 should be out in March.
And yeah Aunt May dying is just sort of meh it wont last long./
