Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
Medi should just make a Doom figure, I'm sure it'll happen since he's one of the top Marvel villains and an armoured character as well.
I'm also sure it'll be sweet :speederbike

Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
True Chris but Doom is not a top bad guy to me. I like him but he is no where near in my eyes to Red Skull, Kingpin or Green Goblin. I don't know, I think it maybe because Doom was always portrayed as a Saturday morning cartoon villain rather than an actual threat.

Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
Dr Doom to me is like a representation of everything the classic comic book supervillain should be, he's like villain man.
Mask check, cape check, wants to rule the world check, shoots laser from fingers check, he's a very stereotypical villain figure.
But that's kinda why I like him as well, he may not be one of Marvel's best, but he's got to be one of the most iconic villains of them all.

Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
Glad you managed to find one in the end Wookster, I checked out a couple of places on the net when you first asked but couldn't find one.
Where did you get it from in the end?

My ol' chum eBay, ended up costing about £23 with shipping from the US, but I just couldn't find one over here. And UK eBayers are charging upwards of £30.

Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
Yeah he is a pretty nice figure but the hip articulation is lacking. ATM I have my black "Icon" Spidey in the group as he can pull the Spidey poses rather well. I may just use the Spidey 2 figure if Hasbro does not re-release this guy with better poa.

agree with you 100%...doom, for me personally at least and, to some extent, the FF and spidey represent what a comic hero and villan should be.
the doom icons figure is awesome. passed on the punishser but the doom is just too friggin' cool.
