Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
Great stuff.
Gotta admit I'm thinking of picking up some original Spidey comic art myself, I love the Humberto Ramos Spidey and I hated it at first.

Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
Yeah his stuff is really quirky but sooo cool.
Like you say at first you think,'Nah' it's just not how I see Spidey, but you're drawn in and before you know it you're hooked, and he draws a mean Goblin.
I have to say my dream is a J Scott Campbell cover, but it'll have to stay a dream I think!

Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
Sounds expensive
I'd also like some of the older stuff, from when I was a kid reading Spider-Man, maybe something from the ASM 300 era or early Venom stories.

I dare not even think of looking into JSC original A/W for fear of hitting the event horizon.
Do you see much older A/W up for sale, what kind of prices does it go for?

Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
I saw a page from an issue of Maximum Carnage, I forget which one, in a comic shop, framed and that was £85.00.
I've never done a proper search on the net, but I'd imagine we're talking a couple of hundred, depending on the piece and the artist.
I know issue covers cost a hell of a lot more than internal pages, but I don't think that'd surprise anyone too much.

Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
Those are pretty nice Chris. I am really liking this line I just wish more would come out then 2 at a time.
Magneto looks better IMO then the Medi version atm. Cyclops is just killer but I'm a sucker for the AXM version.

Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
Yeah this line is top quality I'm looking forward to seeing the Marvel Legends SM3 5" line as well, sounds like a good line up.
According to CTR we're getting all the movie villains, the regular and symbiote Spidey and even a Mary Jane figure, can't wait for the pics.

Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
I believe you mean 6'' there Chris for the SM3 line. To my knowledge this has been more rumor than fact however I do hope this will be fact cause I want me a new Sandman for my ML collection.

Re: Marvel Legends Icons Part 2
I did mean 6", sorry got used to chatting about Doctor Who figures which are in 5" scale, meant to type 6" for Marvel Legends .
Anyway I don't think the line's just rumour, I'll shoot you a link to where I read it on CTR and you can check it out there yourself.
Apparently the build a figure is going to be Sandman (probably the giant version from the end of the film) as well as a regular Sandie figure.
So you should be set
