My First Gundam....no really, this time it's true!!!
Gundam Zeta Plus C1, I got it on a trip to New York, I haven't received any of the kits I've ordered from HLJ yet, so I decided to get this guy to see what I was getting myself into. Very satisfying to tell you the truth, a nice experience all round.
Not finished yet, any ideas on how to improve him without painting? I was thinking of using weathering powders.
EDIT: Ah, finished....finally, can't feel my fingers. Still needs decals and stuff I guess, but generally done.

Re: My First Gundam....no really, this time it's true!!!
Airbrush painting is really what makes gundams awesome. But I know some people use fine tipped markers to color and trace the lines on the figure. They look nice if you have a steady hand. I think there are even Gundam branded markers exactly for that purpose, but there are better markers out there.
The other thing to definitely do is get some fine grain sand paper and sand all the plastic nubs where the pieces used to be connected.

Yeah airbrushing would be ideal, but don't have much space for an airbrush setup at the moment. I ordered a couple of the markers along with a bunch of kits as well, I'll see how that goes.
