Mike Crawfords Endor rebel troops review
I think I may pick up one of these when they hit the bargain bins...and we all know they will!
Great review though, and it certainly has made me consider getting one in the future where as I was totaly going to pass.

Re: Mike Crawfords Endor rebel troops review
Will you be going to Collectormania in Milton Keynes the weekend after next Wookster, I'm thinking of going to meet some of the guests.

No, I'd love to do one some day, and I'm considering the Star Wars celebration (you can get tickets on Play.com) All us Limeys should try and make a date of some kind of fanboy/toyshow event and get wrecked together. Then go and spend way too much on toys...Mmmmm toys!
It's one of the few things we have over our Yank friends, we live in a small enough country that it might be possible.
Our country is soooo small I am personally friends with the Queen, all of the Spice Girls (who?)and King Arthur. Though I have to admit I did meet Simon Pegg in a pub in Muswell Hill a few years ago (circa series 2 of Spaced)...nice guy, very pissed as was I (please note this is the UK meaning of pissed, i.e inebriated, we were not angry with each other).

Re: Mike Crawfords Endor rebel troops review
The review didn't convince me one bit....I think the pictures in the review really make the figures look horrible too.

Re: Mike Crawfords Endor rebel troops review
The review was well written and for a second considered these figures but it took like a second to realze that I don't want to spend the money on these guys. IMO SS should focus less on the Rebel military and more on the Empire - that is where true money lies.

Re: Mike Crawfords Endor rebel troops review
I think they actually look very cool. The clothes are a little baggy, but I think they were baggy in the movie too IIRC.
I'll nab 'em when I can find a good deal!

Re: Mike Crawfords Endor rebel troops review
The review didnt have any effect ony my decision regarding these figures. The regular infantry looks so generic that the 60 dollars for him seems outrageous. The seargent well there are no likness rights to that since he works for sideshow so 60 dollars for that one is also outrageous. Nik Sant is the only one who I'll say the price tage makes sense since he was in the movie.

Re: Mike Crawfords Endor rebel troops review
I think it's the items themselves that are disliked here, the review was well written and seemed fair to me, it did mention Brant was one of the troopers.
So although I thought the review was fair and well written, it didn't change my mind about the items because I didn't like them in the first place.

Re: Mike Crawfords Endor rebel troops review
I'm quite suprised with these figures as they look quite a bit better than many of the recent SW figs, particularly the outfits which for a change look really nice. That said I still wouldn't consider buying them at any price. A Medicom RAH Biker Scout is the ROTJ troop I want most.
