Re: Hasbro SW 30th Anniversary Figures
That Grievous is pretty cute but the character didn't do much for me. I'm gonna try to stick to the McQuarrie stuff.
I just ordered-
Concept Starkiller £6.99
Concept Chewbacca £9.99
From Forbidden-planet. I'm hoping they'll have Luke and the droids in the next few weeks as well.
Worth keeping an eye on play.com as well as they may get them and do them cheaper.

Re: Hasbro SW 30th Anniversary Figures
I'm thinking of ordering the concept Vader and Concept Chewbacca from FPI, to go with my Fett and Trooper preorders, so I've got the lot.
I didn't know the Starkiller figure was up at FPI, I spent ages looking for it on their site as well, could you send me a link to that please?

Pretty good value as well. Looks like Bobba and Chewy are the most popular so far going by price. My only worry is this line seems pretty popular and McQuarrie did a f**k load of paitings...sigh!

Re: Hasbro SW 30th Anniversary Figures
At £6.99 the pricing isn't too bad, it's finding the little buggers in the first place that's beginning to wind me up, thank god Medi don't make em
Since when did FPI have the George Lucas as a Stormtrooper figure, I haven't seen that before on their site, might have to get me one of those.

Re: Hasbro SW 30th Anniversary Figures
Completely pissed off today, woke up and found the Concept Luke McQuarrie figures had been up on Hasbrotoyshop.com last night and sold out.
Son of a !@#$!!!!
I was hoping I might get one of those, but hopefully they'll show up on SWS.Com, BBTS, or Forbidden Planet in the next couple of weeks.

Re: Hasbro SW 30th Anniversary Figures
Having more luck than usual with the McQuarrie figures over the last couple of days, managed to get the droid 2 pack at a decent price from Toyrocket.
Bought two, one to open and one to leave MOC it seems there will be two versions of this exclusive one for Celebration Europe and one for C4.
Also managed to preorder two McQuarrie Vaders from BBTS, they also have the new Starkiller figure if anyone is interested in it.
I wouldn't recommend getting the droid 2 pack from BBTS though, since it's up for twice the price and is still available at Toyrocket.Com.

Re: Hasbro SW 30th Anniversary Figures
Sweet stuff guys - I'm really digging the McQuarrie figures as well. But I'm also into all the other 3 3/4" stuff Hasbro is doing nowadays, Hasbro has really stepped up with these guys IMO.
By some stroke of luck, I scored the Concept Chewy at K-Mart last night (found someones stash - haha!). Chewy is great! I like him a lot more than I thought I would. So now I have McStormy, McFett, McChewy in hand, and the McDroids/McLuke on order. I think I'm actually all caught up w/McQuarrie stuff at the moment.
The only things I'm actively searching for right now are the VTAC Snowtrooper and the Obi/Alpha clone comic pack... Hopefully they'll turn up soon!

Re: Hasbro SW 30th Anniversary Figures
McQuarrie droids showed up this afternoon, and I found VTAC Snowtrooper a few minutes ago at Toys R Us.
Happy day! Now I just need that damn Obi Wan/Alpha clone two pack....

Re: Hasbro SW 30th Anniversary Figures
Well done Reefer
I agree, given the scale and price, Hasbro 3 3/4 inch line is pretty decent, their aliens are always good quality although their human likenesses can be dodgy.
But let's face it for the price these things sell for we shouldn't really complain, still waiting for my droids, did you order from Toyrocket.com as well?
