Pretty sweet!

All he needs now is a cigar in his mouth with an orange/red led tip.

Yeah, maybe we should put a cigar in his mouth to add more personality

emoticon Is this really your first time sculpting ? Wow that's really amazing. Fascinating. Can't wait to see the finished result!

I think the Hot Toys Muscular body would be perfect for your wolvie custom. The Medicom Kai body has visible joints at the elbow and shoulder, so Wolvie wouldn't look great if you were gonna use an outfit with exposed arms. thats just my thought.

imNewHere, it's really my first time, still have lot to learn.

Like the temperature of the oven, when to turn it up, and when to turn it down for thin part or thick part. So much to learn, especialy after I finish sculpting, I'm afraid I screw it up b paint it. Don't even know what to use to paint the face. what about those rinkles, and cracks, what should I use to fill them up? I'm so fustrated..... anyone have any idea??

Re: Custom Wolverine/ LOGAN

Just got back from work, so excited, cuz today is the day I should recieve my X-man Wolverine yellow suit version. And Yes, I got it!! so happy. after looking at it for a while, realize it looks so much better than I thought. I decide to use this body for my Logan/James/Wolverine.

Since Hot Toy's Rocky isn't out yet, and I can't wait any longer, I just place order on my second Wolverine from HLJ (I really like it that much). It's on sale for cheap right now!! Very happy with the price, I believe it's somewhere around $[sign in to see URL]+S/H. all the problem I have is all gone after seening what Medicom have done to this incredible Wolvie. and here are some samples and points I've been looking for my Logan version.

First lets do a size comparson, as you can see, Wolverine suppose to be only 5'3" tall, that is very very short for a guy, but medicom made the size just right.

and compare to a regular RAH301 Kai Massive, it's bout right
--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

Then I was worry if Medicom got lazy and use the same body for all RAH figure, I was wrong. Medicom did add alittle slouchness for this guy.

an extra hunch

The sculpture of the head is very nice and clean, but too bad it doesn't look mean enough for me.

more head comparison

just out of curiousity, who is that in the middle? that looks nothing like any wolverine I see in the comic.

that's it for now!!

Re: Custom Wolverine/ LOGAN

BTW, thank you ScarletSpidey!

The part worry me the most is his arm, I can't seem to imagine how big Medicom can make, but I was wrong again, it's buff enough, alright!! emoticon
--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

and the shoulder armor pad are soft, so it will not get in most of your way for posing
--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

The thigh are thick too, another worry is gone. emoticon
--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

The only problem I really have is the chest, it's not big enough, but it's okay, cuz that will make him have more room to pose
--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

The back is great!! love that V shape Wolverine suppose to have!!!
--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

The only bad part I'm very not happy about is the belt. Is that suppose to be a belt? or hoolahoo to cover the belly? it's just funny, I took it off right away
--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

cuz it can be fix, easy!
--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

enough says, let us get to work!!

back to work finally!! love this figure, can't stop looking at it!!

so I can't wait to put the head on, drill a little hole like ScarletSpidey said, and put the head on. I'll show more picture on the hole later on.

The head might looks big for now, but if you compar with any other head out their, my face is actually the smallest one, but I do have more hair on my wolverine.

can't wait to put the claw in it to complete this pose, but first, he got to be painted.
--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

on a regular body, not too bad, but it's still missing something, too skinny
--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--

another reason I decide to stick with medicom body is I'm afraid Hot Toy's muscular body can't slouch like the way medicom does. but I'm not sure till I buy one, right!!
