Mattel DC Universe Line

This new DC Universe line looks like it could become the next Marvel Legends, the first wave looks really impressive and I think I'm gonna pick up Batman and Penguin.

They've also unveilled some previews of the second wave in the series, which appears to contain Harley Quinn, Aquaman and the blue elemental Superman emoticon

Very cool to finally see some love to the other characters from DC! They look good too, I never liked the ML style figure.

I'm a little disapointed that Wave 1 already has ANOTHER BATMAN RE-ISSUE!!

Wave 2 looks kind of cool

Harley Quinn
Electric Blue Superman(Why??)
Black Mantra
Auqaman I think
Firestorm

Yeah I read too many comics. I think they are doing the right thing by doing some of the more obsucre characters first. And I'm glad to see the Build a Figure trend continuing. They have the potential to destory Marvel Legends beacuse of Hasbro being crappy.

I think the Batman reissue was only because it was the first series of the new line and they probably wanted one of DC's Icons in there.

I kinda liked the elemental blue Superman so I think I'll end up picking it up once series two is released along with the Harley Quinn figure emoticon

Yeah I think these days costume changes are always temporary and as long as the costume makes the character look cool then it's okay by me.

People then get nostalgic for the costume after a while, like the way people feel about the Scarlet Spider and the symbiote costume now.

Spring 2008.

Plenty of time yet, there's still another series of DCSH to come first, the one with Clayface, Joker, Catwoman and Nightwing.

I was surprised they previewed them so far in advance, mind you the DCSH Clayface was previewed at San Diego Comic Con last year.
