Re: Mattel DC Universe Line

I think when preorders hit I'll just pick up a set from one of the online retailers, that way I'm guaranteed to get all the ones I want.

Distribution of Mattel's line is even worse in the UK, the only purple carded figures I've seen from their JLU line are Batman and Superman.

Like we haven't got enough of those.

Mattle have openly admited there are distribution problems with these as well as case ratio problems. What I find funny is that one of the last cases is what they call the ultimate case ratio ALL SUPERMAN ALL BATMAN!

Instead of making a case of all the hard to find figures they make a case of the easiest to find figures.

BBTS has the first five waves up for preorder already, which is jumping the gun a bit IMHO, Mattel haven't even announced the figures beyond wave 2.

It's easy enough to cancel from there, but I can't see the point in putting a preorder up for figures when we don't even know what figures they are yet emoticon

You can now preorder individual figures from series one from BBTS, so I've preordered Red Tornado, Batman and the Penguin from series one.

I really like this line and from what I've heard, even in the states, Mattel's distribution isn't the greatest, so best to buy online.

They claim they are fixing the issue by the end of the year. It doesnt matter since I'll never see them here I'll have to order online. My TRU still has like 6 racks full of Bizzaro no newer DC Superheroes. They gave up.
