Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Kubricks
Here are pics of my newly acquired MGS Kubricks . If you are still in doubt whether to get these or not I would say get them ASAP. I got my set for $30 and love them. I'd say get them before the games come out....I don't see them going any cheaper.
Sorry for the crappy pics...it's been a lazy day...

Re: Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Kubricks
That's awesome pictures!
My local comic store has them, but won't sell them in a set, just individually. So I've ended up with two Naked Snakes & a Raiden. Raiden's swords are VERY pokey! They can take an eye out, and the materials is a hard plastic. Raiden is definitely not for young children!
Btw, there's also a couple of really rare figures, there's a clear ninja and another clear figure (don't recall which one tho).

It's a clear MGS1 Snake as the second chase. Major 'cop-out' IMO.
HEY KAIDO!! Where have you been man? Good to see you posting again.

Re: Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Kubricks
Yes, it's true, Snake Eater, I've been away quite a bit! I have been buying the new 25th GI Joe figures (waaaay easier on the wallet than 1/6 figures, let me tell you) for a few months now so more active on GI Joe based boards, but I miss you guys. Lots of obnoxious, unfriendly, & unappreciative folks on some those other sites.
I lurked here from time to time, but hey, nice to be back for good!
I'm just starting with Kubricks now and what better excuse to return!

Re: Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Kubricks
Abandoning Medicom and Hot Toys for GI Joe!!. How dare you!! Mods I suggest a ban
Ha just kidding dude I loved GI Joe as a kid too so I completely understand. I would love to build a Cobra army if my wallet permitted it
p.s. GI Joe sucks!! Go Cobra!!

Re: Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Kubricks
lol!
Well, when you can buy an entire year's GI Joe vs. two 1/6 figures... it's tough call really, the GI Joe quality isn't that good of course, but they're pretty cool too (and nostalgia factor)!
