I don't know... I guess there's a market for these somewhere... why don't they make more Jin Roh Panzer Cop figures instead? emoticon

revoltech makes more and more stuff I really dig... Who knows, at one point 1/6 scale might become obsolete! Naaaa, I know that never will happen. But, with ThreeA's nice 1/12 scale fully poseable figures, and these recent revoltech's... hmm. More space on shelfs, that's for sure.

One drawback about Revoltechs is they have low resale I think. You could look at the aftermarket and get Revoltechs quite cheap I think.

Re: Cool Revoltech Thread

Months of curiosity finally got the better of me and I decided to have a look at a Revoltech for myself and picked up Hot Rod for a very reasonable price of just under £10 on ebay.

It arrived today and overall I think it's a fun little figure, there's something immensely satisfying about the clicky joints and with no transformation there's no vehicle mode parts hanging off the figure so the poseability is almost unrestricted.

The only real issue was that the pegs on the 2 fists broke when removing them to swap for the pistol grip hands so I had to lever them out with a mini screwdriver..........had I paid £20-£30 for it like some ebay sellers are charging I would have been a bit annoyed but for just under a tenner I can overlook it and see if superglue will fix them.

Sorry to hear that, BCM... next time dip under some hot water to soften the plastic before removing the parts.

Normally I would but I'm currently suffering from a bad cold/flu so I was less patient than usual......lesson learned I guess.

I was probably going to leave the gun hands in for the most part anyway so if I can't superglue the pegs back into place it's not too much of a loss.

At any rate it's not put me off getting any other Revoltechs although I'm still reluctant to start another line just as I'm trying to cut down.

That said I would also like to get Starscream if I could get one for around the same price as Hot Rod and the various Aliens and the Predator are also very tempting.

The Alien sculpt and paintwork is amazing and every Alien buff should get one.

I have over 30 RT figures counting the robots, Street Fighter figures, and Revoltech line... but I try not to get anymore because I dislike the clicky joints and there are often QC problems.

Look out for Hong Kong/Chinese knock offs too, they look authentic and may be hard to spot so a good rule is to avoid Hong Kong Chinese sellers, but that's if you care about owning an authentic item.
