Re: Medicom DragonBall Z Figures
Okay cool, SS is well known for their great customer service so I figured they wouldn't stiff me.
Oh yeah, LOL at "True Believer". Good job , Stan the Man. Until Hot Toys starts consistently churning out awesome anime figures, Make Mine Medicom!

Re: Medicom DragonBall Z Figures
I really want to get Goku, but with all this business about his rubber neck and chest cracking, I'm pretty nervous about purchasing him.
I'm a HUGE DBZ fan, so if I bought Goku, would his body keep from cracking if I just left him in the box?
It's too bad I can't just buy normal Goku and then switch his head with a SS Goku figure's body. THE SKIN TONES ARE DIFFERENT!

Re: Medicom DragonBall Z Figures
Femtech, what is the climate like where you are from?
I really starting to think the humid (or too dry?) climate and hot temperatures had something to do with the rubber pieces cracking.
I'm in a very mild, cool climate and my Gokou displayed in my detolf has been fine to date.
As for keeping him MIB, I don't think that would make a difference. In fact, sometimes I think you should air out the figures, especially the ones with the pleather suits or you risk them disintegrating in their boxes if you're in a very humid tropical type environment.

Re: Medicom DragonBall Z Figures
Well, Kaido, I live in northern California, and the typical temperature here is 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit. In terms of humidity, it's pretty in between. When it's humid, it's a mild humidity, and when it's dry, it's never too dry. I'm only forty minutes south of San Francisco, which is the city of fog, so the climate remains rather temperate where I live. I wouldn't describe the temperature here as being cool though. Certainly not like Canada (as a side note, Vancouver is one of my favorite cities).
So what would your verdict be, Kaido? And not to or anything, but there haven't been any issues of degeneration for SS Goku, Piccolo, or Gohan, right? Thanks!

Re: Medicom DragonBall Z Figures
Well, I'm in Vancouver, so you might want to compare your climate with mine as I've never visited North Carolina. My Gokou and my Piccolo are both doing well displayed in the Detolf (I just checked him again). I got my Gokou from Cornerstoreomics.com and they get their stuff from Sideshow (I'm pretty sure of that) and mine was a preordered one.
There have been no reports of Piccolo or Gohan deteriorating. :eatdrink

Re: Medicom DragonBall Z Figures
Finally heard back from SS, my chestpiece is in the mail. I guess they've gotten a fresh supply in from Medicom, so anybody who needs one should hurry up and go ask for one.

Re: Medicom DragonBall Z Figures
Mine's still holding up! Anyone here get a Gohan & Piccolo's extra head yet? I want the head without Gohan. Such extreme prices on eBay...

Re: Medicom DragonBall Z Figures
I got the head with Gohan, but its not fantastic. Your not missing out on much. It looks more like Nail than Piccolo.
