Btw, I'd love to hear your thoughts as to why you like EB over the HT one too, Psychojengo. I'm still deciding!

Re: The Don. . . . . . . .
I'm just finishing my review now, I would seriously hate to choose, The HT figure is fantastic and provides a lot of bang for your buck, but the Enterbay is also a supremely crafted figure, and the paint app on the face is sublime.
All will be revealed soon... well my take on it anyway!

Re: The Don. . . . . . . .
Ultimate Don would be Enterbay Figure (& Cat) + Hot Toys backdrop & Chair. Enterbay Ball Point Pen with the Gold Certificate.

Re: The Don. . . . . . . .
So buy the EB Don and then try and get the chair online?
Does EB Don have any issues with loose ankles or ankles that can't support the figure's weight for long periods?

Re: The Don. . . . . . . .
For me it's not that cut and dried, they are two figures that inhabit the same space within the whole collectibles market place, but they are also very different.
Both companies have a distinctive house style and these are good examples of that. But I would genuinly hate to choose. Yes, there are strong points on each, but to mix and match would disrupt how they were designed to be exhibited, and I do like my figures box fresh, a little futzing is fine, but no major mods... I'm not helping much I know!

Re: The Don. . . . . . . .
Nah, what I'm saying is whichever one you go for you can't go wrong. One is not better than the other, sure, there are elements that you will prefer and each individual can base their choice on that, but it will be a personal choice, both are exceptioanal figures.
We're lucky to be collecting at this time, with so much quality and choice... Hmmmm, I might use that in my review!

Re: The Don. . . . . . . .
I have not seen HT in actual but only pics, but the Enterbay really brings the don out of him. The face & body & suit. The pants are pretty neat.
But when you buy Enterbay best to buy in person and check everything, esp the suits. My chair is a bit loose on the top so it tend to face abit upwards when the cat is sitting on it.
The ankles, legs & joints are pretty tight. No problem Don doesn't stand like an old man at all, compare to Sideshow & Medicom younger characters...
