Is Avatar suitable for minors? Like a Kindergarten kid? I want to watch it for sure, but wondering if there are any objectionable scenes for a 5 year old (excessive violence, scary scenes, blood).

There's a decent amount of gunfire and explosions, but the only blood in the film is the makeup kind -- you know, like when a character is punched and you can see a tad bit of red stained on his/her face. In terms of scary scenes, if your child has seen parts of Peter Jackson's King Kong, or even Jurassic Park, then he/she should be just fine with the ferocious-yet-charming alien wildlife. It's definitely a family-friendly film, so in my opinion, you're all systems go for a good time with your child. emoticon If by astronomically small chance your child doesn't have a good time watching the film, then I'll take full responsibility and treat you to an online gift from Amazon or something as reparation, Kaido. :roflrofl Now go watch Avatar! :eatdrink

Iron Man 2 will no doubt be a whole month's salary gone. emoticon
And Avatar might be interesting seeing as I loved the movie. But if it comes out too late, I might lose interest by then. emoticon
