Re: Mattel & Jakks WWE TNA UFC any wrestling/mma figures

Nice pics! I was never a fan of the Jakks figures because the detailing and scale was half assed at best and since they got the license Mattel have opened a large can of whoop ass on their predecessors.

So far I have,

           Legends
series 1 Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat
series 1 "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

           Elites
series 1 Undertaker
series 1 CM Punk
series 1 Rey Mysterio
series 1 Edge
series 2 Triple H
series 2 Randy Orton
series 3 Christian

SDCC brought some amazing revelations of future Legends including a MASSIVE coup as "Macho Man" Randy Savage has signed a deal and his first figure will be in the attire he wore in his Wrestlemania 7 match with the Ultimate Warrior.

Jakks couldn't sign Steamboat or Savage in over 6 years of Classic Superstars yet Mattel have got both in the first 6-8 months of their tenure emoticon

I haven't paid any attention to Wrestling figures since i was little kid and played with those old goofy all rubber ones. My buddy and i had so many of those. We used to colour on them with red markers and pretend it was blood. Then one day Hulksters head almost completely ripped off. So we used that in a match and that's how Jake the Snake won the belt off Hogan, by a brutal decapitation.

I remember those all-rubber ones! You could bounce them on the ground to make them simulate slams. They were preposed if I remember. I never had any, but I watched some of my classmates play with theirs.

HBK looks pretty good but Cena just needs some green paint and a couple of bolts to finish his Frankenstein look, lol

I have one new aquisition, a Legends series 2 Jake "The Snake" Roberts complete with his cobra from his heel run in '91-'92.

It's awesome to finally have a Jake that doesn't have a ridiculously jacked up physique and the only think I think could improve it is a right hand sculpted as if doing the gesture he always made to the crowd when about to perform the DDT.

Next up for me is Legends series 2 Kamala and "Ravishing" Rick Rude emoticon
