Re: Adventure Kartel - Fighting JC 1/6 figure
Nice picts all
I just recently opened up my Mauro and Exegesis JC and noticed the brown/red paint on the fist is still wet! Paint got transferred to my fingers - wet - while posing them. hmm...

Re: Adventure Kartel - Fighting JC 1/6 figure
Hmmm... weird, fresh off the factory floor? I think the figures themselves could use a matte finish, especially the TQs and Lil' Shadow figures as their paint chips off the legs so easily.
Master Monkey washes the 3A figure's clothes to get rid of the residues first. I think that's a great idea... don't want these figures giving us some kind of poisoning.
I think just boil some hot water and stick the clothes in there and just gently squeeze out the paint. The figure will still look good and weathered, I'm sure.

Re: Adventure Kartel - Fighting JC 1/6 figure
Yea I found that hand washing them in something like Woolite really reduces the crap that keeps coming off of them. They still look pretty weathered, as most of whatever it is that they put on them seems fairly permanent.
I wash the clothes a few times over, then hair dryer and air dry it. Its amazing how dark brown the water gets! You can also wash the heads hands and feet, but would suggest removing them from the body first.

Re: Adventure Kartel - Fighting JC 1/6 figure
I hate it when it happens. I clicked on this thread because I didn't know what JC means and then I thought it actually looks pretty good.
Credit goes to SkyPigNO1 of Toys Daily. It's taken using an iPhone too...good job.
I think 3A is taking it's toll on me.

Xirality, ThreeA is great, their QC is quite good and figures usually have nice tight joints. Great designs too, as you can see.
