They're the most expensive figuarts...but still cheaper than exclusives. Once you get them in your hands, you'll realize why. The amount of details is hands down the best. So many clear parts inserted! Like little jewels throughout the figure!nondisclosed_email@example.com (Zwyer)Thu, 26 Jan 2012 12:25:50 +0000 Re: Ultra Act - Ultraman figures by Bandaihttps://bmedicom.runboard.com/p318760,from=rss#post318760https://bmedicom.runboard.com/p318760,from=rss#post318760Thanks for the tips! Nice to find another source. I wanted to get the Tiger Bunny SH Figuarts, but man, they are such a rip off. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Kaido)Wed, 25 Jan 2012 18:32:33 +0000 Re: Ultra Act - Ultraman figures by Bandaihttps://bmedicom.runboard.com/p318737,from=rss#post318737https://bmedicom.runboard.com/p318737,from=rss#post318737Kaido, The seller I buy most of my stuff from is called anime king. He has an ebay store, sells on amazon and also has his own online store. Another good one is gginfinite.com nondisclosed_email@example.com (Zwyer)Fri, 20 Jan 2012 15:44:01 +0000 Re: Ultra Act - Ultraman figures by Bandaihttps://bmedicom.runboard.com/p318734,from=rss#post318734https://bmedicom.runboard.com/p318734,from=rss#post318734Ahhh!!! Well this is flippin' fantastic. HLJ is having a sale on most of the Ultra-Act figures that I just bought last week!! I would have saved at least $30 if I bought them this week... nondisclosed_email@example.com (Kaido)Thu, 19 Jan 2012 20:43:38 +0000 Re: Ultra Act - Ultraman figures by Bandaihttps://bmedicom.runboard.com/p318727,from=rss#post318727https://bmedicom.runboard.com/p318727,from=rss#post318727Zwyer, mind telling me which US toy supplier you use? Always trying to save a buck here and there. I guess they will never release ALL the Ultra Monsters in Ultra Act form, but can you just imagine? I also have quite a few of the Ultra Monster vinyl figures. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Kaido)Wed, 18 Jan 2012 23:36:14 +0000 Re: Ultra Act - Ultraman figures by Bandaihttps://bmedicom.runboard.com/p318723,from=rss#post318723https://bmedicom.runboard.com/p318723,from=rss#post318723I do! I still like the quality of figuarts better, but I don't even try getting them from Japan anymore. Thankfully, we have a U.S. distributor with some very good prices (equivalant to amiami)..bad part is we have to wait. As for the Ultra Act line, Dyna and Agul are amazing. If they keep the line with this level of quality, they're gonna be hitting the figuarts level pretty soon. Jeanbot was also a surprise...he was heavy, mainly cause of all the die-cast used. Its not just his feet. I believe his legs and upper arms were diecast..maybe a part of his torso too. I hope they release more monsters though. But then again, we have the monster arts line, which is also pretty amazing (a little pricey though).nondisclosed_email@example.com (Zwyer)Mon, 16 Jan 2012 23:07:00 +0000 Re: Ultra Act - Ultraman figures by Bandaihttps://bmedicom.runboard.com/p318709,from=rss#post318709https://bmedicom.runboard.com/p318709,from=rss#post318709Anyone here still collecting this line? This is the only line of Bandai I still faithfully collect... figures have been getting better and better. I just put in my order for Jean Bot, Mirror Knight, Agul, & Dyna.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Kaido)Thu, 12 Jan 2012 23:01:53 +0000 Re: Ultra Act - Ultraman figures by Bandaihttps://bmedicom.runboard.com/p312726,from=rss#post312726https://bmedicom.runboard.com/p312726,from=rss#post312726Thanks JuN! You know those blister package trays they use? They are so tight so when I pop them open, fists and accessories go flying. Oh well, gives me an excuse to buy Ultra Act Ultraman again (if they re-release with improved joints).nondisclosed_email@example.com (Kaido)Sat, 01 Jan 2011 10:40:46 +0000 Re: Ultra Act - Ultraman figures by Bandaihttps://bmedicom.runboard.com/p312499,from=rss#post312499https://bmedicom.runboard.com/p312499,from=rss#post312499Yeah, Mebius... kinda plasticky looking. The bad guys are the highlight of this line for sure. Still buying most of them so far, but I did skip the Ultimate Zero figure. I did buy Kaiser Belial tho... wish I could cancel it, but AmiAmi doesn't let you.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Kaido)Mon, 20 Dec 2010 22:03:06 +0000 Re: Ultra Act - Ultraman figures by Bandaihttps://bmedicom.runboard.com/p312324,from=rss#post312324https://bmedicom.runboard.com/p312324,from=rss#post312324I picked up mine just today from the post office. It seems that silver/red is just a hard combo to achieve a nice look with the materials being used..Ultra Zero was mostly Blue, so the plastic material looked fine. The silver paint app on these ultraman looked like..well, paint! Its like someone used those silver arts and crafts markers and painted them. Its not a very smooth application. With that said, I'm still looking forward to Ultra Seven!nondisclosed_email@example.com (Zwyer)Sat, 11 Dec 2010 18:51:28 +0000 Re: Ultra Act - Ultraman figures by Bandaihttps://bmedicom.runboard.com/p312006,from=rss#post312006https://bmedicom.runboard.com/p312006,from=rss#post312006I think I already pre-ordered Ultimate Zero already... I agree w/ you Zwyer, not digging the design. Serves me right for ordering sight unseen... maybe I'll feel better about it if I ever get a chance to watch the movie.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Kaido)Tue, 23 Nov 2010 20:59:24 +0000 Re: Ultra Act - Ultraman figures by Bandaihttps://bmedicom.runboard.com/p312000,from=rss#post312000https://bmedicom.runboard.com/p312000,from=rss#post312000I love my baltan! I can't wait for mebius. I finally saw what Ultimate Zero looks like...and I'd pass on that one. also going to pass on next belial. Only because I already have a belial. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Zwyer)Mon, 22 Nov 2010 16:55:32 +0000 Ultra Act - Ultraman figures by Bandaihttps://bmedicom.runboard.com/p311935,from=rss#post311935https://bmedicom.runboard.com/p311935,from=rss#post311935I think about time to start this thread as technically it's a different line than SH Figuarts. Anyway, I got Alien Baltan today and it's a perfect figure in every way quality-wise. He comes with six little tiny Baltans. These could have been better; they are about the size of a Zoids pilot, about 1 cm tall and really easy to lose. They are attached to sprues like a model kit. I do hope they relaunch Ultraman. These new figures put the first release Ultraman to shame. Anyone getting the Belial Kaiser version?nondisclosed_email@example.com (Kaido)Tue, 16 Nov 2010 11:45:45 +0000
