Hi all........
My 1st post here and i wondered if you kind folks could advise me  .
Im collecting 1/6 scale samurai figures at mo and i have found some that im after on other Ebay sites IE US Ebay and our Ebay the UK one but the UK has also sellers from China on there.
What i would like to know is, is it legit to buy from sellers from Hong Kong and other places like China? i dont want to get stung by getting a fakes but arnt most of the figure EI EnterBays and Medicom and few others made in China?.
Whats peoples experience?

Hi Kai Winn. Read the seller's description and check out their feedback carefully and you should be okay. Or if in doubt, you can always post an auction for us to have a look and try to advise you. There aren't too many 'fake' 1/6 figures out there, but there are some smaller 'independent' players out there who issue out figures as well.

tell me what think?. The US one is from a toyshop as i checked it out so i favour more towards that one if know what i mean but on anouther forum some had bought things from the China one and said it ok to use.

I think both sellers are completely safe. This is an authentic figure made by Crazy Owners, (which is just a small player in the 1/6 world). If you're looking for 'name brand' samurai, you may also want to consider figures by Alfrex.

Hey Kaiwinn, I happen to own that very same figure, I'll give you a fair bit of warning that it is not the greatest figure out there. The head is nice, as are the clothes and weapons but the body is really poor and the hands can barely hold the swords. I was fairly disappointed at first but I did a minor body swap and that sort of fixed the problems.
If you're really in the hunt for a Musashi figure or maybe just a cool looking Samurai I might suggest this one

ah nice one, yh ive seen that one before looks good cheers, i knew it was worth coming on here for advice about these figures. Well to be honest ill prob just get all Samurai figures including a ninja aswell
I got the Ignite one cheap so thats me first one and just bought the Did Samurai aswell.
I like these 1/6th scale figures there nice display figures/ ornaments haha.

I think the Asmus Toys samurai is based on the Vagabond manga comic. It's Miyamoto Musashi.
If you like samurai and ninjas, Triad Toys has some ninja figures. Hot Toys released some ninja figures that are based on movies: Goemon and Kamui. Sideshow's GI Joe line has Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes.
For samurai, Alfrex makes tons of samurai figures from all sorts of famous samurai movies like Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, etc.

Yeah ive seen yhe Alfrex ones very nice but be hard to find lol.
Im after Jin from Samurai Champloo which ive seen so want that.

PS just got the Li Naomasa figure and nice it is too so also next apart from Jin is the TOYOTOMI HIDEYOSH figure
