Thks for the review!!!

I'm curious, how do the eyes change directions? is it similar to Enterbay style?
Didnt know Kamen Rider Birth did acting work too.

Nice Xirality!

I had to pay shitloads of duty, almost not worth it to buy from Amiami next time! emoticon

Picking it up tonight after dinner (hopefully)!

And Griffith and Casca? Yeah, I don't think it's going to happen either... if anything maybe we will see a black swordsman Guts as a Wonderfest exclusive or something? emoticon

Yeup it's the Enterbay style. But it's strange because instead of removing the hair piece at the back like all other manufacturers, you remove the face from the front to reach the pegs.

Housing inside the head is kinda cramped, so you have to be really careful when sliding the face back in or else you'll hit the eye pegs and make Guts go full derp.

My guess is they wanna keep the design language consistent because faces for both Saber and Miku are removed the same way. The exception is that their bangs are also removable which makes it very easy to switch the face. I hope they leave the head a lil more room for the Skyward Sword Link...

This is Medicom's first time making movable eyes (if I remember correctly) and they gave us whopping two face plates right off the bat. The pegs even have a big enough range to do the berserk rage face.

Have fun with this release!! My guess is you'll be futzing with it like I did. The chest armor on mine was shifted out waaaaaaaaay out to the right and I spent a long time getting the shoulder to sit naturally. But it's definitely worth it when you get everything to look good.

Lol same here...really pessimistic about seeing more figs from this line. Medicom is too busy milking the hell out of Attack on Titan...and I...I like it emoticon

Guts!

-He's tall! Taller than a regular RAH by about 3/4 of an inch. Great shelf presence!
-The boot is well done, the upper part of the boot is like a sheath around the shin, the foot with the shoe part of the boot pegs in so you can have full articulation with the ankles.
-Feels like there's padding under those pants, to fatten up his legs.
-Helmet is really delicate and the glue holding the side guards are not strong. I've broken mine off already and will need to re-glue.
-Haven't noticed the paint tone side by side on the faces - to me, both faces are slightly a bit darker skin tone than the neck and arms. I'll have to take a closer look tomorrow under natural lighting.
-Dagger comes out of the sheathe and can be wielded. Sword is nice and straight, no issues.
-White wrist band is soft plastic and can be adjusted to be closer to the hand, to hide joint seams. Nice!
-Cape needs futzing to look nice, and boy does it!
-I think the shoulder pads are glued direclty on the RAH's shoulders, but not 100% sure. The pads kind of look like they're just floating there, but the cape hides them fine.
-Not sure if the torso armour comes off or not, I'm not going to be futzing with it
- Joints are tight and feel great!
-Minor nitpick - you see tiny crack between the face and the hair. I agree with Xirality, it's a bit of a pain to change the faces, they should have made his bangs removable.
-Another nitpick - every time I try to pull the hand out, the hand pops out and the peg gets stuck and I have to pull the peg part out.

Man, first Kei Kurono, then Manji, now this awesome Guts figure... Medicom is back! And I got Link preordered as well! emoticon

Can't wait to see what other cool stuff is coming out from them. Let's hopefully see some more video game figures, like new Snake and Raiden.

I have total faith in Medicom right now since Darker than Black Hei, Gantz Kei Kurono, Blade of the Immortal Manji, and now Berserk Guts. They have been rock solid. Nothing too fancy, just great QC and clean execution and what more can we ask for?

Hey, a little warning about this figure when posing, the neck is the soft rubber (similar to Gokou) and the armour and the strap that holds the sword is hard plastic. I found on mine that the soft rubber can get damaged by the hard plastic if it is resting on it.

There is some minor paint/skin peel on the neck in those areas, but only noticeable if the red cape is removed and even then, only at extreme close up.
