TK Klub

'Figured we could use a thread for the Klub, especially since it will be a continual sub-line of merch'.

This is one of the coolest sets ThreeA has offered since I first started as a customer, so I don't want Medi peeps to miss out. emoticon

Android TKs, pretty darn cool! Who's getting these? emoticon

Note the articulated fingers too, yo!

I'll see about fixing up the pics for ya later on, Femtech. I use a photo hosting site, then you should have no problems. I really like Photobucket for online pics (it's free). I use Flickr for my personal pics, still need to pay for my renewal.

Thanks for starting the thread! emoticon

Sale on now for EDO set. There's a limited Red Commander one as well. Good luck!

I had to pass.

I missed Red Cmdr both times by mere minutes. Guess it wasn't meant to be for me. Had twin pack in my cart until it was pulled down and I'm still undecided. Paid for it an hour later.
I really just wanted 1 of it and Red fits by requirement nicely but alas! it is those dreaded secrets.
Maybe I'll just sell one of the 2 in the pack when it arrives.

Re: TK Klub

Awesome! Finally a new type of TK that can stand up agains the OGs. I mean it. I like these TK very much. Much better than a lot of the 'variation' type TK we've gotten over the last years. KDA, TKYO, Waza, Oroshi, Nage… nice, but all of them lacked that certain extra. The EDO Momba do have it. It's in the details! Happy to have the set and the RED commander. TKLUB one complete!

Here's a pic of 'Ghost Nage'. He's supposed to be a chase for the Nage release.

Every release of the TKlub had a chase, like in the good old times. As opposite to a 'surprise drop I suppose. But it looks as if Ash broke his own rules again (no surprises during TKlub), and for the last drop of TKlub one, he dropped RED commander.

Re: TK Klub

EMO causer RED commander. It got nasty during and after the drop. I could be wrong, but I got the feeling that this one is limited like in 'old school' limited. There where only 2 drops, and, since this was totally unexpected (remember? No secrets during TKlub...), I don't think many where there to score. The drops were fairly far apart from each other, and the 2nd drop was as unexpected as the first one.
I haven't seen it for myself, but some say that the figure (and the EDO set) turned up for a brief moment again hours after the sale was officially over. I don't know if it could be added to the cart, at least I haven't heard from anyone that actually bought something during that glitch, and if they did, would the purchase be honored, or refunded.

I have never had any luck whatsoever to even SEE a chase figure on Bambaland despite F5ing away for an hour or so... emoticon

How long do you sit there during the sale and F5 for?

Re: TK Klub

A chase is actually a figure that is randomly put into boxes, and delivered to the unwitting customer.

That's the fun about it: you don't know that it hit ya! Most chases are very sought after. But, I recall Ash explaining that they also had people sending them mails complaining that they didn't get what they ordered! He offered them a chance to exchange the figure for 'what they ordered'. Stupid!
