Re: Medicom Japanese superheroes thread
These might not be those super expensive RAHs. But I was so happy when I had these finished.

Re: Medicom Japanese superheroes thread
LOL Venny. Actually, they are Full Vinyl figures. I had to drill, cut, scrape vynyl off and fix them to the Hyper Hero base body.
Those Hyper heroes customs are basically my first custom work ever, back in 2002.
I still have my Gavan and Sharivan Custom. I am planning to improve them when I have the time.

Re: Medicom Japanese superheroes thread
I dont know Edwint. I missed out on a lot of them and sold my few pieces away a few months back.
I even had to pass the Masked Rider no.1 " The First" version due to short of funds.
I might not buy most but pick and choose.
The Hyper Hero V3 and Rider man box set in the pic I sold it last year for Sing$300. I bought it at Sing$150 in 2002 from Action City.

Re: Medicom Japanese superheroes thread
Those are some sweet customs Scarlet. They remind me of the VR Troopers serise that came out the same time the Might Morphin Power Rangers first serise came out in the US.
Hey, is there a way to get a blank body of the Captain. I think that would be a sweet body for the Medicom Superman. Either that or the regular Massive body.

Re: Medicom Japanese superheroes thread
Thanks Skywalker,
The Space Sheriffs are the first of it's kind when they were released in 1981(Gavan),
1982(Sharivan) and 1984(shaider)
I dont know what's the main difference of Cap Udons body with Supes. They look about the same. Maybe the waist on Udon's more fuller.
I dont think a massive figure would work as you'd have a costume with baggy chest area.
I think after th Faux leather application, supes looks perfect.(apart from the turtle neck)
Anyways, do post pics of your HT version.

Re: Medicom Japanese superheroes thread
Wow, news travel's fast doesn't it. While I love Medi's version, I also loved HT's version as well. The factor that came down was the fact that BBTS was/is taking forever to get the figure out. So I said screw it, I will get me a Superman.
Plus, I like how I can use BBi, HT, Dragon heads to help create the JL. I already found a head for John Stewart (just need to buy it and make the suit) and DCD is releasing a 13'' Martian Manhunter. So all that would be missing would by Diana, Flash, and Aquaman (and of course all those other cool characters, but my main focus is the core seven). But I am hoping that HT or Medi will do a Wonder Woman eventually. I don't think I could do her character justice.
