Re: Stylish Collection gets no love!

I just got my Cagliostro figures today! Jigen is perfect, except his feet are a bit loose. I did the crazy glue trick to the back of his knee joints so now they weren't so loose. The ankles are still a teeny bit loose though, but the figure is everything I thought it would be.

Goemon is equally impressive, no complaints here! I absolutely love my Lupin collection!

Unfortunately, Fujiko Mine in green commando outfit totally stinks of cigarettes, I mean, it's TERRIBLE! Also, her straps are very deteriorated and are falling apart. It will be a while before I can get her belt fixed properly, I'm sure.

Pics to come!!

:speederbike You can tell that Medicom is a big fan of Lupin and the Cagliostro movie. There isn't much traffic on this topic but we know how cool these are Kaido ! emoticon Can't wait to see your pics

Haddn't seen the Lupin pics before Hunter! Great stuff! I just got some funny ideas about the Medicom Lupin figures. emoticon I always was interested to get them, but it seemed to much of a hassle to get them all, since some of them are quite a few years old... So I never really whent through with it, eventhough I really wanted them, and still do.
Can someone tell me how much Figures Medicom made in the Lupin series? Not just the Lupin character, but all of them. Wonder if I still had a chance to get them all if I started now... .
I have no idea of their real value. I found Lupin in the past on toy fares a couple of times, but the prices where to far appart to make a right estimation of the price.
Thx.

Re: Stylish Collection gets no love!

oohh...i guess it's about time to open up the old file again emoticon

AA: i'm pretty new in collecting figure, especially 1/6 size. It's been around 3-4 years now, and i'm proud to say that Lupin is one of the first figure that i purchase to get me into 1/6 line (i now have around 10-12 of the Lupin series).

The quality of the body might not be the same as the new figure, but somehow it has the charisma that we can't get in many others line (in my opinion).

Ok back to your question AA: how many Medicom produced this Lupin series...they are many of them ^^ (i will try to list it down the line hopefully this week or Kaido & Hunter_D1 can help start it up as well too ^^)

here are "some" of the Medicom Lupin Line figure taken by someone on the internet

Image

or because quite many of them there is also this anime pics to give the idea (well maybe exaggerate a bit ^^)

and here are some of my past pics (sorry if double post)

The Lupin figures aren't all created equal imho. However, the ver 2.0 Lupin, Castle of Cagliostro version of Jigen and Goemon are awesome figures and must haves.

cub3K, these are from my collection :

They are now behind a bunch of Adventure Kartel figures but I still love them to bits. Got quite a few of them during my trip to Tokyo back in Jan 2009.

Re: Stylish Collection gets no love!

haha...yes, share some of the Lupin Love with us Porkins73 ^^ (i want the Fujiko in red kimono)

btw AA...Kaido has some up a quick summaries with the pics from the Lupin box and true, because so many of them. It is best if you can find the Medicom Cagliostro Series version.

It has a better modern body, and especially the Jigen Cagliostro (so cool with the cigarette and long anti-tank riffle)

the price in yahoo japan for the Cagliostro version is ranging from 5-8,000 yen normally.
I saw Jigen Cagliostro last 2-3 weeks ago still in yahoo japan.

Kaido: how's the joint on Kage Cagliostro? i mean is Kage still poseable like on the box pic? hiks...i still don't have Lupin ver.2 yet emoticon

Cub3k, Kage (the ninja) body is not as poseable as Jigen and Lupin. His suit is quite tight which restricts poseability, and is made of a foamy material. Still, if you can get him cheap (say under $80), he's a must.
