Re: Fixing Your Broken RAH Bodies
Okay, I'll start with the feet.
I fixed one of my feet and it works damn well.
Like always the ankle gave way. The tiny holes at the ankle where the rod goes in broke, so I used epoxy putty and cover the area and after it dried, drilled a new hole and inserted the rod back in.
I dont know how resistant is it from future breakage but as long you dont yank it too hard it should be alright.
Here some pics
I could've painted over the opoxy putty parts for a cleaner look but wanted for you to see clearly the broken areas.
I didnt fix the toes articulation area cos it's pretty much useless when wearing boots
How it looks like partially dismantled.

Re: Fixing Your Broken RAH Bodies
Also pls not that these feet came from the RAH Comic Spidey. Take my word for it. Dont take the feet out from the boots. Even with hot water, you run the risk of breakin the ankle.
Whether it's takin out or putting em back in, it's just as difficult.
SO DONT RISK IT!

Scarlet, this thread is great! God job man!! I'll have to try that epoxy stuff on some of my busted medi's.
Where do you get that, a hardware store?

Re: Fixing Your Broken RAH Bodies
yup, got mine from the hardware shop. I used to get from those hobby shops but they are just glorified expensive epoxy putty with brand.
Just get em from the hardware shop for 1/3 of the price.

Re: Fixing Your Broken RAH Bodies
Yeah, I hate how the hobby shops extort. I learned my lesson with that a long time ago with paint thinner.
You could get a little tiny bottle at a hobby shop, or a can of the stuff at a hardware store for the same price. lol :roflrofl

Re: Fixing Your Broken RAH Bodies
Dang, I wish Medicom would've used the massive w/ chest muscle body instead of the superhero body. It would have made a huge difference and improved the figure greatly.
