Hi Johnny emoticon So you sold the bats!! I'd like to say "congratz" but I'm sorry it turned out this way!

I can't comment on Johnny's situation, but I have a similar issue with the demon bats I recently got (demon bats suit is very similar to the OG bats in regards of material I suppose).
Note, there's a small spot on the figure's inner left thigh (right side leg on the photo). It's there because I tried to get rid of the annoying fibrous dust from the (more or less sticky) rubber. I used a clean damp fuzz free cloth. That didn't help at all, but it left the mark.
In the mean time I found a way to get rid of the fibrous dust (for a little while at least): use tape!
But, now, I'd like to know how to get the sheen back on the suit. It's dull now. On many photo's a slight sheen is seen on the suit. So me two I do believe that the suit should have a little sheen.
Is there a way to make rubber shine a little? I'm thinking ARMOR ALL emoticon , but I've head contradictory storys about it, so, I don't dare to try it on rubber. I've used it in my car years ago, and the result was great. Then again, the dash board of a car is not the same as the rubber they use for 1/6 scale figures I take it.

I heard Armor All is bad too, that it will eat away what original coating you had in the beginning. I used to use it for my car and my dash did seem faded, but things fade over time b/c of sunlight exposure anyway, so may warrant some further research on the web.

Love demon batman! I got my batman back in the end - the guy wanted a $60 refund, and he was going to take it apart and use it for customs or to sell the parts, and I didn't want Jim dismembered to I gave hime a full refund and paid for return shipping. Glad did!

H looks fine to me, don't know what he was so upset about.

I don't see the spot toured talking about Alice do you have a CU?

I heard armour all, cooking oil and a lot of contradictory things - I think the sheen disappears after a while unless you leave it untouched in the box.

Good you got your bats back Johnny - now I got a second chance at it - emoticon
Oh, very unlikely after last weeks Grunt - wallet attack! Besides, need to get the Tech Noir T-800 first, and I must hurry up for that one, before the source runs dry!

What a CU?

I believe you are absolutely right about the sheen! Me too I believe it disappears unless you leave it untouched in the box, and, even then you're not sure it will stay on for ever.
I'm still eager to find out what could help keeping the sheen, and preserving the rubber tough.

CU is a closeup shot

looking at my demon batman, which I barely handled - just put him in a nice pose and put him on display, the sheen is the same as my orig costume bats - orig has some scuffmarks, but basically I think the sheen is imaginary! It's just the way it look on the HT photographs and more the result of lighting than anything - I suspect it doesn't really fade, it's just not really there to begin with!

Please help!!

I have with me a very beautiful looking ironman mark 3 bd version. Its so gorgeous that it pains me whenever I look at the hips. Its made of some rubbery material and the red is much duller as compared to the rest of the parts which are much brighter.

Is there anything I can do about it? Like repaint or sth?

Thanks.

Guys, the ankle of my DX Bats broke. He's got a wobbly ankle now. It's the piece inside of the boot that is snapped off (one side of it). Is this piece easily replacable? Is it a normal feet?

Thanks in advance for any help.
