eh...I had a decent time watching this....but after if was over, I just thought it was ok. I think what went in it's favor was that I hadn't watched a samurai period piece in awhile (which I missed). I used to watch them more frequently.

McHaley, I agree with you, this was kind of meh. CG burning oxen looked fake and the fight scene at the end was sorta boring. And what was up with that guy they found in the woods? Was he a supernatural ninja or some kind of demon? Take away those elements and would have been a way more satisfying movie, imho.
