Behind the Avatar.
Since this is a pretty tight group, I've known you guys for quite a while, I want to see the faces behind the avatar...Of course you don't have to if you don't feel comfortable.. but come on we're all toy fanboys here. I'll start off, For all of you that wonder if I really was 15!
I need a hair cut.

Re: Behind the Avatar.
I can't post pics yet as I've been unable to set up my broadband at home. It takes forever 8( . Anyhoo once I get sorted if I can post a pic I'll do it. In the mean time why don't we use this thread as a way of getting to know more about each other outside the obvious Medicom obsessions and our common hatred for a certain RS mod.
My real name is Christopher Ridge and I'm 25 years old. I live in Pontefract in West Yorkshire with my girlfriend/fiancee of five years who is called Teresa. I work for a company called WDH in their twenty four hour call centre called One Call. I deal with repairs to houses and complaints from tenant's that haven't had their repairs done as arranged. So I speak to a fair few stroppy people .
I haven't been a life long Star Wars fan, on and off really since I was about fourteen, but have been a Marvel fan, more or less constantly since I was a child.
I don't have any brothers or sisters, my mum passed away of cancer when I was 18 and me and my dad only get on about half the time.
In my spare time I like to go shopping, eating out is also a fave with me and going to the flicks. I go out drinking alot with work and my favourite drink is Vodka, though the following day it's usually my least favourite drink . I'm also writing my first novel, which is kind of like the Da Vinci Code meets NYPD blue.
My favourite adult tv shows are 24, Alias and Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I'm also looking forward to seeing the new series of Blade when it comes out over here.
My pet hates are Disney movies, they're just too contrived for me and I didn't even like them as a kid. I don't like fries, but love potato chips believe it or not.
Anyone else care to share?

Re: Behind the Avatar.
Jabba, Sorry to hear about your mom..but thats life.. I guess.. I can't stress enough thinking about the future when I wake up 20-30 years from now and notice that my parents are gone... It trips me out... Thats partially the reason why I can't sleep much.
Jabba I love 24 dude.. I was so impressed when I saw the first season.... but skipped out on seasons 2,3 but watched 4... I don't get it though... is it like continous? so like season one is monday? season two is tuesday?
Vice - Hang in there buddy.

Re: Behind the Avatar.
Nah every season of 24 is like a movie sequel. Some time has passed between the days.
I think there was something like a year between season one and two and about three years between seasons three and four.
The most amazing thing about that show is the fact they manage to keep what is essentially a twenty four part story fresh and interesting really holds your attention. Some writers struggle to hold the interest and suspense for a two hour movie, these guys manage it for twenty four hours per season.
Oh and Elisha Cuthbert in her pants
